Ayer Shirley Regional is seeking a qualified Treasurer to manage district funds and provide support to the Business Office and Director of Finance.

• Responsible for depositing all funds
• Authorize and make disbursements upon the written warrant or order of the School Committee
• Manage the district's financial resources to ensure the availability of cash to pay obligations as they become due
• Oversees banking services
• Assure strict compliance with all state and federal laws pertaining to the Treasurer's duties
• Collaborate effectively with the Superintendent, Finance Director, and other Business Office Personnel

Position Type: Part-time

Salary: $13,500 to $15,500 Per Year

• Knowledge of state laws pertaining to the Treasurer's responsibilities
• Bachelor's degree in business or finance
• MA Certified Treasurer status is highly desirable

• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
