Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – PRN
Ayer Valley Rehab & Nursing, Ayer, MA
$35–$38/hour
We are seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support our rehabilitation team. This role offers flexible scheduling while helping residents regain independence and improve daily function.
Position Responsibilities:- Deliver occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of the Occupational Therapist
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, upper extremity function, balance, coordination, and functional mobility
- Implement individualized treatment programs established by the supervising OT
- Monitor resident performance and communicate progress to the therapy team
- Collaborate with nursing and interdisciplinary staff to support resident goals
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Flexible PRN scheduling
- Collaborative rehabilitation team with PT, OT, SLP, and nursing professionals
- Opportunity to work with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents
- Positive, resident-focused clinical environment
- Active Massachusetts COTA license required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Skilled nursing experience preferred but not required
- Flexible scheduling
- Opportunities for additional PRN shifts
