Activities Assistant
Ayer Valley Rehab & Nursing is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with elders and creating meaningful, engaging experiences for residents.
As an Activities Assistant, you will work alongside the Activities Director to help plan and carry out recreational programs for our residents.
Responsibilities:- Assist with daily activities and recreational programs
- Encourage resident participation and engagement
- Help set up and clean up activities and events
- Provide hands-on support during scheduled programs
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident participation
- Work collaboratively with staff to support resident well-being
- Prior experience working with elderly residents or patients preferred
- Positive, enthusiastic, and dependable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enjoys working with and engaging residents
Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time
