The Technology Support Specialist (TSS) is primarily responsible for providing networking, hardware, and software support in a PreK to Grade 12 school environment. The TSS will address day‑to‑day issues that occur in a one‑to‑one technology environment.

• Diagnosing and repairing Chromebooks
• Troubleshooting technology issues
• Addressing help desk tickets to support the school environment
• Setting up and installing new technologies (as necessary)
• Assisting with set up for school presentations
• Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology
• Assist with setting up presentations
• Work with wireless technologies
• Provide staff, teachers, and students with technical support with educational applications.

Position Type: Full‑time

Salary: $48,000 to $50,000 Per Year

• • High School diploma or GED, as well as some vocational training related to computer or information technology support
  • Previous vocational training related to computer or information technology support preferred
  • Strong understanding of web‑based applications
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Windows 7,8, 10, 11, and macOS systems
  • Experiences working in Google Workspace or G‑Suite
  • Strong skillset and ability to repair and manage Chromebooks and iPads
  • Familiarity with wireless environments
  • Experience with Windows Server 2008 and above environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Able to work in a self‑directed and team environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Good organizational skills
  • Demonstrates initiative
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
