A well established and highly respected mechanical contractor in the North Central Massachusetts region (approximately 40 minutes northwest of Boston) is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join its growing team. This is more than just a Project Manager position. It's a unique opportunity with a planned leadership path into an Operations Director role as part of the company's long term succession plan.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Manage multiple commercial mechanical construction projects simultaneously
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and overall project execution
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Monitor project financial performance and profitability
- Conduct jobsite visits to ensure quality, safety, and project progress
- Mentor and support junior project managers
- Identify project risks and implement effective solutions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
Assist with operational improvements and leadership initiatives
- 3+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial mechanical contractor
- Experience managing HVAC, Plumbing, or Pipe fitting construction projects is required
- Proven ability to manage commercial mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, contracts, and change order management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Desire to grow into a future Operations Director leadership role
- Base Salary: $120,000 to $135,000 DOE
