We’re seeking a Plant Operations Manager to oversee daily operations an industrial manufacturing company in Ayer. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient production while maintaining the highest standards of quality, environmental compliance, and equipment performance.

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of automated production systems and equipment
• Lead, coach, and schedule a small team (3 employees) to ensure productivity, safety, and quality
• Operate production machinery and heavy equipment as needed to support daily workflow
• Assist machine operators on the floor and troubleshoot basic issues to keep production running smoothly
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, DEP, and environmental/safety requirements
• Analyze production, downtime, and performance data to identify process improvements using LEAN concepts
• Ensure facility readiness to accept incoming materials and deliver finished products on time
• Support special projects that improve efficiency, sustainability, and plant performance
