Quality Lab Technician - 1st Shift

Advantage Technical is partnering with a regulated manufacturer in Ayer, MA to place a Quality Lab Technician on their quality team. If you have hands‑on lab experience and a sharp eye for product quality, this role is for you.

• Perform laboratory testing using specialized equipment including beacons to ensure product and package quality
• Conduct aseptic testing, sampling, and apply measurement calculations and conversions
• Calibrate and troubleshoot lab equipment including pH meters, scales, HPLC, and in-line monitoring systems
• Maintain accurate daily records of tests performed and results
• Monitor line operations; shift materials or finished product as needed to maintain flow
• Expedite quality concerns to the line; collaborate with maintenance as needed
• Follow safety programs and understand plant-specific hazards within your scope
• Uphold housekeeping standards and clean equipment and work area each shift

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience with laboratory equipment (pH meters, scales, HPLC, in-line monitoring)
• Ability to read, write, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Aseptic technique and lab sampling experience
• Regulatory compliance and documentation experience
• Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry
