Job Description

Shift: Morning (Monday thru Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.)

Pay Rate: $22 - $23

Responsible for assembling and wiring industrial equipment.

REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDE, NOT LIMITED TO):

* Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations

* Assemble industrial equipment and integrate sub-assemblies components

* Understanding of schematics and wire run lists

* Wiring, set up, and adjustment of industrial equipment

* Start up and validate equipment

* Manage time to meet deadlines on multiple projects simultaneously

* Build from verbal communication when prints are not available

* Use crimpers and ferrules

* Strong mechanical aptitude

* Build quality product without specified time frame

* Follow SOPs

Qualifications

* 2+ years' experience wiring electrical boxes and electro-mechanical assembly, preferred

* High School Diploma or GED preferred

* Experience in mechanical assembly and troubleshooting; assembly of capital equipment preferred

* Experience in the proper use of hand tools (i.e. torque wrenches, crimpers, drills)

* Experience, understanding and knowledge of basic hardware (metric and standard)

* Must have reliable transportation

* Ability to communicate with all levels of co-workers to ensure continuity in production

* Ability to read, write and speak English is required

* Goal oriented and self-motivated with a stable employment history

* Familiar with Lean Six Sigma concepts preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

* Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

* Kneel, bend, twist

* Ability to work under large pieces of industrial equipment on a creeper
