Painter & Carpenter: Surface Prep, Trim & Siding

Job Description

We are a growing, high quality paint company looking for motivated employees

Responsibilities will include:

Preparing surfaces by power washing, scraping, sanding using commercial equipment, filling cracks and patching holes

Carpentry involved will be replacing siding and trim.

Working on ladders

Maintaining equipment. Daily and end of the week cleanup of jobsite

Record keeping of jobsite tasks

Maintaining safe work procedures by setting up ladders and safety barriers according to prescribed protocols.

Having correct materials on site

Must be able to follow directions

Qualifications needed:2 years minimum experience.

Have a driver’s license and car and smartphone (We will provide Exaktime time tracking software.) Able to communicate with people in a kind and courteous manner. Good eye for detail and color. Self-motivated; self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment. Ability to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines. Adherence to company, customer and government policies, safety and quality policies and standards.

Must pass drug screen and have references. Teachers and college students are encouraged to apply
