Car Technician / MOT Tester (Class 4 &
7) - £40k Starting Salary

If you're a skilled technician who takes pride in doing things properly - and you've spent at least five years building your craft - this role gives you the stability, respect, and workshop environment you've earned.

You'll be joining a busy, trusted workshop where quality matters. The kind of place where your experience isn't just appreciated - it's relied on. You'll handle MOT testing for Class 4 & 7 vehicles, carry out repairs, diagnose faults, and help keep the workshop running smoothly Monday to Friday, with Saturdays available as overtime for those who want the extra income.

• Class 4 & 7 MOT testing - completing MOTs accurately, safely, and in line with DVSA requirements.
• Vehicle servicing & repairs - from routine maintenance to more involved mechanical work.
• Diagnostics & fault-finding - using modern diagnostic tools to identify issues quickly and correctly.
• Workshop standards - keeping the workspace tidy, safe, and compliant.
• Clear reporting - updating job cards, communicating findings, and ensuring smooth workflow.
• Team contribution - working alongside experienced technicians who value professionalism and pride in the job.

• Minimum 5 years' experience as a Car Technician / MOT Tester.
• Class 4 & 7 MOT licence and confidence in carrying out accurate, compliant tests.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic ability.
• A reliable, professional approach - someone who takes ownership of their work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a solid workshop team.
