Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Technician on behalf of our client, a well-established independent garage located in Milton Keynes. • Basic salary up to £45,760 (equivalent to up to £22 per hour)
• Overtime paid at double rate (£44 per hour) in 15-minute increments
• Work hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (40 hours per week)
• Optional overtime available

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including high‑end models
• Carry out servicing, troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs to the highest standards
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle work and communicate effectively with customers
• Assist in diagnosing complex vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members as needed
• Ensure workshop safety standards are consistently met
• Contribute to a team‑oriented environment focused on customer satisfaction and technical excellence

• Recognised qualification in Motor Vehicle Maintenance or an equivalent certification
• Proven experience working as a Vehicle Technician, ideally with high‑end or German marques
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
• Proactive, positive attitude, and excellent team working skills
• Willingness to stay current with industry innovations and advancements
