My client is a well-established and growing supplier of specialist lifting equipment and plant machinery

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on mini cranes and specialist lifting equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, providing effective solutions to minimise equipment downtime.
• Attend customer sites to investigate breakdowns and carry out on-site repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements.
• Support customers and colleagues with technical advice, equipment training and general workshop duties.

• Level 3 engineering qualification, ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Previous engineering experience in a relevant field, such as plant machinery, HGVs, forklift trucks or powered access equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication, customer service and organisational skills, alongside a sound understanding of health and safety.
• Applications from ex-military engineers are also strongly encouraged.
