PositionExciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant based at University Hospital Ayr
.
Work as part of the Catering Production & Services Team, contributing in all areas – salad/sandwich preparation, food delivery, service, wash‑up cleaning duties. Maintain catering records, including HACCP, invoicing hospitality, monthly financial audits, cross‑charges, and liaison with internal and external departments.
Print hospitality labelling for staff dining rooms, visitors and functions, including diet labels for patients.
- Good communication and practical skills are essential.
- Food Hygiene Certificate desirable; must be completed within first 3 months if not held.
- Previous experience in a large‑scale catering environment is desirable but full training will be provided.
25 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 09:30am‑14:45pm.
UK Driving Licence/Car OwnershipA UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
