Bar Staff Fairfield House Hotel Part-Time

Join our team at Fairfield House Hotel, a popular destination in the heart of Ayr. We’re looking for enthusiastic and experienced Bar Staff to join our team and help deliver a great experience for every guest. You’ll be responsible for serving drinks, taking orders, processing payments and maintaining a welcoming, well-presented bar.

• Serving drinks efficiently and to a high standard.
• Taking orders and providing friendly, attentive service.
• Preparing and maintaining the bar area throughout service.
• Processing payments and handling transactions accurately.
• Recommending drinks and supporting opportunities to increase sales.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Supporting the team during busy services, functions and events.
• Following licensing, food safety and health and safety requirements.

• Must be 18 or over due to licensing laws for the sale of alcohol.
• Previous bar experience is preferred.
• Availability across midweek, evenings and weekends.
• Friendly, confident and personable with a genuine focus on customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive, flexible and willing to get stuck in.
• Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team.
