Vehicle Technician

Location:

Ayr

Offer:

£39,155 – £56,656 OTE annually (dependent on experience and qualification level)

Hours:

Flexible working available – 40 hours per week (Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm) with one Saturday per week (8:30 am – 12:30 pm), or a fixed 4‑Day working week (Monday‑Thursday or Tuesday‑Friday, 42 hours).

The role

As a Vehicle Technician you will:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnosis and repair of Audi vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
  • Complete repairs efficiently to manufacturer standards
  • Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work required
  • Ensure all work complies with manufacturer guidelines and health & safety regulations
  • Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the workshop team to maximise efficiency and productivity
  • Deliver exceptional workmanship and first‑time fix quality
About you

You should demonstrate the following:

  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry
  • Strong servicing, maintenance and diagnostic skills
  • Commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK manual driving licence
