City of Garland is seeking a General Accountant to support multiple financial functions including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, month-end close and year-end close. The role involves journal entries, invoice processing, reconciliations and GAAP/GASB compliance.
Responsibilities include preparing financial documentation, assisting audit inquiries, and maintaining control records for revenues, expenditures, and taxes. Strong Excel and Workday skills preferred.
