Requirements / QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
Possession of at least one of the following valid permits issued by the California State Commission for Teacher Preparation:
Child Development Teacher Permit Child Development Master Teacher Permit Child Development Site Supervisor Permit Child Development Program Director Permit Possession of a current American Red Cross First Aid Certificate and a current CPR Certificate Desirable
Qualifications:
BA degree from an accredited college or university Ability to speak, read and write Spanish Three (3) or more years of experience in a preschool program A valid California Driver's License
In addition to the EdJoin application, please submit a letter of intent and a minimum of three (3) current letters of recommendation, all written within one year. The position will be closed prior to being filled if 100 applicants are received. Medical insurance plans are available on the Azusa Unified School District website in the staff section. Employees working a 90+% assignment are required to take at least single coverage health insurance with the Azusa Unified School District or provide proof of coverage through another group plan.
