The Infrastructure Department represents the owner for the city-owned properties and real estate. We manage, develop and operate an extensive and diverse portfolio of properties and infrastructural facilities and installations. The Terrace Pool/Water Surfaces (TEWA) competence area is responsible for the operation and maintenance of all water surfaces. We manage the Terrace Pool (indoor and outdoor pool) as well as the Burghalde and Tannegg-Pfaffechappe teaching swimming halls.

A cafeteria is also operated in the indoor pool.

Your tasks

• Leading the team of cashiers (6 - 8 persons / seasonal) including duty planning
• Assuming overall responsibility for cash desk operations
• Attending to guests (communication, representation, customer care, enquiries, complaints management)
• Maintaining and managing the TEWA e-mail inbox
• Managing and coordinating the occupancy plans and reservations of all TEWA facilities
• Accounts receivable management for all TEWA facilities
• Managing and operating the cafeteria (including purchasing, inventory management, cleaning, decoration and hygiene controls)
• Technical and content responsibility for various systems (admission, info screen, occupancy, web presence, communication platforms)
• Administrative tasks for the team and the TEWA competence area / minute-taking of TEWA meetings
• Participation in projects

Your profile

• Specialist vocational training or equivalent qualification with good industry knowledge in cash desk operations, accounting/administration and hospitality
• Confidence and high accuracy in handling all financial transactions (cash/non-cash)
• Willingness to work flexible hours (weekends, public holidays) including cash desk duties
• Organisational talent with a flair for teamwork
• Leadership experience with strong social skills
• High hospitality qualities and role model in professional guest relations
• Good communication skills with strong solution-oriented negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Independent working with initiative
• At least driving licence category B
