This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Residential Practitioner based in Shipley. The Senior Residential Practitioner will oversee the daily operations of residential care services, ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and supervising a team, implementing care plans, fostering a nurturing environment, and promoting positive outcomes. The role also includes maintaining compliance with regulatory and safeguarding standards, providing support to staff, and liaising with external professionals to ensure the best care for residents.

• Strong leadership, team supervision, and people management skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices, regulatory compliance, and child welfare legislation
• Experience in residential care, social care, or working with children and young people
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Ability to create and implement effective care plans and strategies tailored to individual needs
• Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
• Prior experience in a senior or leadership role within the care sector is preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the role and willingness to work in an on-site setting
• Must hold a minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
