Operations Manager, Client Relationship Manager
Position Purpose
Supervise front‑line sales staff and overall day‑to‑day operations of the branch. Ensure highly effective customer service, particularly in response to special requests, complaints, problems, and branch productivity.
Essential Functions- Manage branch implementation of institution‑wide sales and service efforts designed to retain existing customer relationships and grow new relationships to meet branch and bank‑wide deposit, loan and fee income goals.
- Work with the Branch Manager to develop and implement a sound, aggressive business development plan in accordance with association objectives.
- Develop new business by proactively contacting prospective or current customers and presenting appropriate financial products and services.
- Manage business development support provided by CSRs/RBs in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
- Present a solid, supportive and consistent leadership team that enhances and increases productivity and success of the branch staff.
- Maintain the operational integrity of the branch and minimize organizational liability.
- Project a professional and positive image of First Fed through personal appearance and behavior while in the branch or at community events, and through appropriate internal and external communications.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required.
- Minimum high‑school diploma or certified equivalency. College coursework highly preferred.
- Typically requires two years of demonstrated and effective supervisory experience in a retail branch or financial institution environment, or demonstrated experience in a lead worker role providing guidance and expertise to branch staff to meet established operational, sales, and customer service goals.
- Thorough knowledge of relationship banker operational activities, new account functions, and consumer loans is essential.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, the ability to foster an environment of teamwork and collaboration, and resolve conflict.
- Ability to coach, supervise and direct the work of others, promoting morale, engagement and productivity.
- Ability to effectively present information in one‑on‑one and small groups to customers and employees.
- Effective time‑management skills, with the ability to follow up in a timely and effective manner.
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written formats. Fluency in the English language is essential;
Spanish fluency (speaking, reading, and writing) is preferred. - Strong mathematical and computational skills; accurate and consistent balancing record; ability to find balancing errors in the work of others.
- Ability to develop and maintain a solid working knowledge of First Fed policies, procedures, products, and systems. Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Incumbent must be willing and able to work Saturday schedule as needed.
- Current Washington State driver’s license.
- NMLS required if originating consumer loans.
Ability to operate office machines and equipment such as personal computers, printers, copying machines, and telephones. Ability to communicate clearly with customers, coworkers, and others in person and on telephones. Work activities involve combinations of sitting and standing for extended periods.
Pay Range- Pay range $31.74 – $53.95 per hour.
- Typical hiring range $31.74 – $36.42 per hour.
