The Bainbridge Island Fire Department seeks a Chief of Operations (Assistant Chief rank) to lead emergency response operations, staffing, incident command, and operational readiness. This exempt, non-union role reports to the Fire Chief and is the department’s second highest-ranking officer.
Responsibilities include directing operations across all hazards, coordinating mutual aid, managing the operations budget, and mentoring personnel.
