About the RoleSolius Labs, Inc. is a fast-growing Class II medical device startup in the light therapy space, preparing to commercialize and launch our first product. We are seeking a highly adaptable, hands‑on Product Operations Technician to support a wide range of business, engineering, quality, and manufacturing activities.
This is an on‑site role (5 days per week) and is ideal for someone who thrives in early‑stage environments, enjoys learning new skills, and wants to grow with a company transitioning from a startup to commercial organization.
Key Responsibilities Engineering & Technical Support- Support engineering activities including product testing, device assembly, and organization of lab/work spaces
- Help create and/or follow, under team guidance, test protocols and assembly instructions with precision and attention to detail
- Document test results and observations clearly and accurately
- Assist with troubleshooting and elevate technical issues when appropriate
- Use a variety of hand tools to support prototyping activities
- Support quality system activities including documentation control and record maintenance as guided by management
- Assist with part inspections, part and device investigations, and nonconformance documentation
- Help create, update, and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and forms
- Ensure activities are performed in compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
- Support manufacturing activities including product assembly and packaging
- Support inventory activities including incoming receiving, inspection, and material organization
- Assist with shipping of parts, materials, and product as necessary
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work spaces
- Provide general office and operational support as needed
- Take direction from multiple team members and departments
- Ask clarifying questions when needed and proactively communicate risks or issues
- Ability to work on‑site 5 days per week
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a regulated environment
- Willingness to support a wide range of tasks across the business
- Ability to listen, ask questions, and elevate issues appropriately
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable working in a regulated environment
- Technical experience (electronics, engineering, lab work, manufacturing, or similar)
- Experience with medical devices, regulated industries, or quality systems (ISO 13485/MDSAP, FDA, FAA)
- Hands‑on experience with assembly, testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing
- Experience documenting technical or procedural work
- Enjoys wearing multiple hats and solving practical problems
- Scientifically thoughtful, methodical, and thorough
- Takes ownership of tasks and follows them through to completion
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Wants to grow with a company and take on increasing responsibility over time
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Stand or sit for an extended period
This role is expected to evolve as the company scales. The right candidate will have opportunities to grow and prove competency in more specialized roles in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or operations as the business matures.
