Position Summary
Leads and develops teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates touring stores. Provides feedback, communicates and collaborates with all levels of associates regarding store operations, utilizing technology, business initiatives, merchandising and company direction. Introduces and leads company change efforts by setting clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions and communicate objectives to teams effectively. Models exceptional customer service standards by following the One Best Way service model, managing and supporting customer service initiatives for the store and community outreach programs, ensuring customer needs, complaints and issues are resolved successfully, and developing and implementing action plans to correct deficiencies.
Provides process improvement leadership to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
Drives the financial performance and sales of the designated store area by reviewing PL statements, managing budgets, forecasting and controlling expenses, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, seasonal transitions, inventory flow, and operational processes. Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting clear expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset in the workplace. Recruitment and development of qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting initiatives to meet customer and business needs, communicating goals, building accountability, and measuring progress.
Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports mission, values, and ethics, and implements related action plans using the Open Door Policy.

Minimum Qualifications- 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience.
- For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check and Firearms Authorized Training.
- For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.
