Overview
CWI Welding Inspector positions in Georgia, USA. Salary: USD 40 - 45 per hour with overtime after 40 hours at time and a half. Shift: 4 x 10s, Monday – Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM; overtime on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 1.5x.
Day to Day / Responsibilities- Perform visual and NDT inspections
- Conduct UT testing
- Review drawings and specifications
- Complete inspection reports and ensure fabricated products meet quality standards
- Current AWS CWI certification
- 900+ documented UT hours
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1 and D1.5 codes
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
- NDT, MT, or PT experience
- Background in heavy steel fabrication or AISC-certified facilities
