Position Purpose
Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Baker City, Oregon is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide critical support for 3 executive level managers.

Job DescriptionAn ideal candidate possesses finely honed critical thinking skills, time management, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities include a variety of administrative tasks: document/file management, receiving and screening visitors and phone calls, maintaining assigned calendars, managing scheduling needs, coordinating meetings, conferences, special events, and travel.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.
- Three years of office operations and secretarial experience.
- Arrange and coordinate appointments, conferences, meetings, and travel arrangements and expenses for senior leaders.
- Coordinate projects that encompass a variety of internal and external individuals and groups.
- Record minutes and prepare agenda and documentation for SARMC committee meetings.
- Prepare and assemble necessary background material, ensuring leaders have agenda, notes, and materials in advance.
- Process daily mail for the office.
- Screen callers and visitors, routing calls or visitors as necessary.
