Your ImpactThis position is the hub of our Outpatient Behavioral Health Program.
Every day you will help:
- Connect people with behavioral health services.
- Coordinate referrals and client intakes.
- Support clinicians so they can focus on client care.
- Help individuals navigate insurance and appointments.
- Ensure clients receive timely access to services.
- Maintain accurate documentation and medical records.
- Create a welcoming, professional experience for every client.
Your work helps ensure people receive the care they need-when they need it.
What You'll DoAs an Outpatient Behavioral Health Support Staff / QMHA, you will:
- Coordinate referrals, intakes, screenings, and appointments.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, families, and community partners.
- Support behavioral health, addiction, crisis, and forensic programs.
- Enter and maintain accurate information in our Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Verify insurance eligibility and assist with service authorizations.
- Maintain confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
- Work closely with clinicians, peer support staff, prescribers, hospitals, courts, and community partners.
- Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every individual seeking services.

We're seeking candidates who:
- Meet the qualifications for a Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA).
- Have experience in behavioral health, social services, healthcare, or a related field.
- Enjoy working with people.
- Are comfortable using electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office.
- Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
The position requires meeting Oregon's QMHA definition, proficiency with EHR/computer systems, and the ability to work within behavioral health documentation and confidentiality requirements.
