Description

FIND YOUR PURPOSE. FIND YOUR PLACE.

Looking for work that actually means something?

At New Directions Northwest, you don't need years of behavioral health experience to begin making a difference. Baker House Women's is looking for a dependable, compassionate Treatment Technician to join our residential treatment team.

We can teach you the program. We can train you for the position. What we're looking for is someone who brings reliability, good judgment, professionalism, compassion, and a genuine desire to help people succeed in recovery.

Why This Work Matters

Baker House Women's provides a structured, supportive residential environment for women working toward recovery from substance use disorders.

As a Treatment Technician, you are part of their everyday recovery experience. You help maintain a safe and welcoming environment, provide structure and supervision, support daily activities and programming, communicate with the treatment team, and help clients move forward.

Some days the difference you make may seem small. To the person you're helping, it may be anything but small.

What You'll Do
  • Support clients in a compassionate, respectful and nonjudgmental manner.
  • Help maintain a safe, structured and recovery-focused residential environment.
  • Provide client supervision and support throughout daily activities and programming.
  • Observe and communicate important client needs or concerns to the treatment team.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and confidentiality.
  • Work collaboratively with counselors, supervisors and other members of the treatment team.
  • Follow NDN policies, residential procedures and safety requirements.
You Don't Have to Come to Us as a Counselor

This is important. We hire for potential as well as experience.

Previous residential treatment or behavioral health experience can be helpful, but it isn't the only way to become a strong Treatment Technician. NDN provides training and gives employees opportunities to learn, develop professionally and explore careers in behavioral health and addiction treatment.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must also be able to meet NDN's applicable background, drug-screening, driving and other employment requirements.

We Don't Just Hire People. We Develop Them.

Your first position at New Directions Northwest doesn't have to be your last. A Treatment Technician position can be an opportunity to gain hands-on behavioral health experience, develop new skills, pursue credentials and discover where you want your career to go next.

START HERE. LEARN HERE. GROW HERE.
