The Oregon Long-Term Care Ombudsman is seeking RFO Certified Ombudsman volunteers to advocate for individuals in care homes across Oregon. Volunteers will conduct in-home visits, address complaints, and ensure residents’ rights and choices are respected.
You will need to be at least 18 years old, pass a criminal history check, and have strong communication and observation skills. Required training includes 16 hours initially and continued education thereafter.
This role requires a flexible commitment of approximately 16 hours monthly, and we value long-term dedication to the program.
