We are looking to hire a Full Time Day Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department in Baker City, Oregon!

This position will be located at our Medical Center off the La Grande‑Baker Hwy, just below the Elkhorn Mountains.

As an RN at Saint Alphonsus Health System, you will provide hands‑on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, utilizing resources wisely, advocating for patient physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being, educating patients, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and developing care plans based on patient needs. RNs working in the ED will manage a six‑bed unit made up of patients with trauma and stroke, primarily.

• Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing is required.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire in all units, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire.

• 1 year of RN acute care experience (high acuity, critical care patient population experience required)
