Location:
Emergency Department, Baker City, Oregon.
We are looking to hire a PRN Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care in our Emergency Department.
ResponsibilitiesProvide hands‑on patient care while collaborating with colleagues, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilizing resources wisely.
Act as a patient advocate by promoting their physical, spiritual, and emotional well‑being.
Educate patients, administer prescribed medications and treatments, and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs.
Manage a six‑bed unit composed of trauma and stroke patients.
QualificationsLicense and Certification:
- Licensed in the State of Oregon as a Registered Nurse under the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network required at hire.
- ACLS/PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
General Preference:
- 1 year of RN acute care experience (high acuity, critical care patient population).
