DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson, the largest, most innovative, and comprehensive orthopedic business in the world, is recruiting for a Limb Deformity Manager.
Key Responsibilities- Assess market trends, data and business opportunities within the assigned area
- Within the US
- Utilize data and insights to develop a strategy and action plan and partner with Area Vice President(s) and Regional Manager(s) to execute this plan
- In partnership with the Regional Managers, provide clear direction, strategy, and leadership to sales consultants through various communication methods to strategize maintaining focus on complex deformity procedures in local areas
- In partnership with Commercial Education, lead, develop, and implement the Sales Education programs for portfolio to ensure the sales force is compliantly trained on the safe and effective use of our products and strategic selling skills
- Maintain a strong internal network allowing collaboration with peers across projects and initiatives
- Lead monthly calls with Regional Sales Managers and Area VP’s to discuss and and assess all sales strategies and plans
- Identify and engage with Key Opinion Leaders
- Partner with Regional Manager and sales team to support existing users and convert competitive users
- Act as a clinical liaison between the surgeons and other DePuy Synthes departments
- Collaborate with Marketing and R&D on various initiatives including, but not limited to, surgeon feedback, pricing and marketing strategies
- Collaborate to align on clear field messaging and facilitate two-way exchange of information between marketing and the field
- Develop and communicate clear selling strategies for the field sales teams for both DPM/MD surgeons in conjunction with Professional Education
- As the portfolio manager, provide problem resolution and support for in-field challenges where required
- In partnership with the Regional Manager, coordinate and participate in all Customer Education Visits to DePuy Synthes offices
Education:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent required;
Business/Marketing/Finance degree - MBA preferred.
- 7+ years of orthopedic and/or healthcare experience preferred
- 5+ years proven experience in limb deformity is required
- Previous managerial or leadership experience strongly preferred in either overseeing a portfolio and/or people management
