Heavy Equipment Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Eastern Oregon Rental and Sales. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for the inspection, maintenance, and repair of a variety of equipment in our rental fleet, ensuring that all machinery is in optimal working condition for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently.

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on a diverse range of equipment, including generators, power tools, construction machinery, and other rental equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues and perform necessary repairs promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct thorough equipment assessments to identify and address potential problems before they rise.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and services conducted.
• Collaborate with the rental team to ensure rented equipment meets safety and performance standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends, equipment manuals, and manufacturer guidelines for proper maintenance procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding equipment status, repairs, and any additional requirements.

Pay Range: $25/hr to $35/hr
