Position: Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator Needed
Be a part of Rail Works' team as a Heavy Equipment Operator in British Columbia, where you will be crucial in construction and maintenance tasks. Your skills in heavy machinery operation are essential for project success.

This role, reporting to the Foreman, involves various responsibilities, such as conducting equipment safety checks, performing routine maintenance, and assisting in moving materials at construction sites. Your expertise is key to mitigating hazards and ensuring efficient operations in adherence to safety protocols

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate heavy equipment for loading and unloading

• Conduct maintenance checks and make necessary repairs

• Signal directions to coworkers during equipment operation

• Maintain usage records and report equipment problems

• Proactively identify potential hazards at job sites

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Minimum of three years experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with a pristine record

• Ability to read and follow safety and work procedures

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and requirements
