Description
Join National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry! We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have several labs throughout the country. We are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this Dental Lab C AD CAM Technician Trainee opportunity at NDX DH Baker Dental Laboratory in Traverse City, MI.
The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
- Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist
- Scan model work into 3shape System following standard operating procedures
- Insure all steps are followed to insure consistent, accurate results
- Verify Scan is correct and materials have been entered correctly
- Read and review all paperwork on each case for correct information
- Pre-stain units following SOP directions
- As abilities progress, may include introduction to designing of products
- All other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities
Required:
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Strong ability to read, listen, comprehend, retain and execute on written and verbal instructions
- High level of organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers and managers
- Multi-task oriented
Education, Training and Skills required
- Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent - Must be computer literate
Hazardous Material or Equipment Used
- Computer and scanning equipment
- Additional related materials or equipment, as required
- Personal protective equipment, as required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and or reach
- Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions
- Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail and color
