Position Description
The Pre‑Roll Technician is responsible for the production and preparation of pre‑rolled cannabis products. This role involves the efficient rolling and packaging of cannabis flower into pre‑rolls, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance. The technician will operate machinery, prepare materials, and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to create finished pre‑roll products for distribution.
ShiftMonday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Responsibilities- Prepare cannabis flower for the pre‑roll process, including grinding and sorting materials.
- Operate pre‑roll machines and knock boxes for consistent and efficient production.
- Monitor environmental conditions within the pre‑roll production area to ensure optimal conditions.
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in the pre‑roll production process.
- Package pre‑roll products according to established standards and regulatory requirements.
- Transport finished products to secure inventory areas for proper storage.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Ilera Holistic Healthcare's SOPs and work instructions.
- Communicate effectively with team members during shift changes to ensure smooth workflow.
- Adhere to safe chemical handling, disposal procedures, and safety protocols as outlined in SOPs and MSDS.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including sweeping, mopping, and performing general housekeeping tasks.
- Report any unsafe or hazardous conditions to the Pre‑Roll Supervisor.
- Work flexible shifts as necessary to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Uphold Ilera Holistic Healthcare's quality and teamwork objectives in all tasks and interactions.
- Perform other duties as required by the team or leadership.
- Maintain personal training documentation as needed.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to high‑quality standards.
- Self‑motivated with a desire to learn and improve in the role.
- Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurement and calculations.
- Proficient in using computer programs such as word processing, database management, and spreadsheets.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and constantly changing team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Physical ability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, squat, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply information from manuals, data sheets, and other documents.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with all company regulations and safety standards.
As a condition of employment, a complete background investigation will be conducted based on the laws of Louisiana and the Louisiana Department of Health rules for therapeutic marijuana employment. This will include a criminal background check conducted by a third‑party as well as any additional background check which the state may request at their discretion.
