As the firm continues to expand, the team is looking for a Staff Accountant to support financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting processes. This role offers exposure to fund accounting, financial reporting, and operational finance, making it a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the investment sector.

Position Overview

The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with fund accounting processes. This position requires a strong attention to detail, an ability to work with complex financial data, and familiarity with accounting principles specific to investment firms.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations across multiple investment entities.
• Support fund accounting operations, including tracking capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements for management review.
• Assist with audit and tax preparation, working with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and invoicing.
• Maintain cash flow projections and help manage bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
• Work closely with the Controller and finance team to improve accounting processes and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 0–3 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Experience with Excel and accounting software (such as Quick Books, Net Suite, or Yardi).
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
