Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with a manufacturing organization in the Bakersfield, CA area. This management-level role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional who enjoys leading daily accounting operations, supporting accurate financial reporting, and improving processes in a fast‑paced production environment. The Accounting Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing general ledger activity, supporting month‑end close, reviewing reconciliations, and partnering with internal teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

• Supervise daily accounting operations, including general ledger activity, account reconciliations, journal entries, and close‑related tasks.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Review accounting work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal policies and applicable accounting standards.
• Partner with operations, finance, and leadership teams to provide reporting support, resolve discrepancies, and improve accounting processes.
• Assist with audit preparation, documentation, internal controls, and compliance‑related activities.
• Lead, coach, and support accounting staff to promote accuracy, efficiency, accountability, and professional development.

• Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
