Our client is seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join their growing accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a corporate accounting environment and is looking for a clear path toward future leadership opportunities.

The ideal candidate will bring strong general ledger experience, a solid understanding of budgeting and financial reporting, and experience overseeing key accounting functions including accounts payable and payroll.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger activity
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Manage and oversee accounts payable and payroll functions
• Review payroll allocations and related accounting entries
• Assist with financial statement preparation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies
• Partner with leadership on process improvements and special projects
• Support audit requests and other accounting initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong corporate accounting background preferred
• Experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting
