Senior Staff Accountant 3+yrs exp

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Staff Accountant to join a growing accounting team in Bakersfield. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with strong experience in GAAP financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, audits, and internal controls. • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of consecutive professional accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles
• Experience managing month-end close processes
• Knowledge of internal controls, audits, compliance, and reconciliations
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Industry experience in Agriculture or Oil & Gas
• Experience supporting both internal and external audits
• Background in budget analysis and financial statement preparation
