General Accounting Manager

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join a growing company in Bakersfield, CA. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented accounting professional with strong experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll who is looking for an opportunity to grow with a supportive team.

Bakersfield, CA

Pay: $26-$30 per hour, based on knowledge and experience

Industry experience preferred:
Energy or construction

• Balance accounts and maintain accurate financial records.
• Create purchase orders and support bid entry.
• Manage vendor accounts and documentation.
• Enter invoices in Quick Books and process vendor credit applications.
• Handle ACH authorizations and payment‑related documentation.
• Post payments, prepare invoices, manage collections, and maintain aging reports.
• Assist with payroll and benefits administration using ADP.

• Strong experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.
• Experience using Quick Books and ADP preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to manage multiple accounting tasks in a growing business environment.
• Energy or construction industry experience is a plus.
