Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, and general ledger activity.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Support financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis activities.
• Monitor revenue and expenditures to ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
• Assist with annual audits and provide supporting documentation as needed.
• Collaborate with program and operational teams to support financial management and reporting.

Qualifications for the Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two (2+) years of accounting experience, preferably in nonprofit, healthcare, or governmental environments.
