Salary: $55,000–$68,000

Our client is a well-established manufacturing company with more than 40 years of operating history. The company has a long-tenured workforce and a family-oriented work environment. This position will work closely with ownership and executive leadership and will support a broad range of accounting and payroll functions.

Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end and year-end close activities
• Prepare financial statements and related reports
• Maintain the general ledger for multiple entities
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Process and reconcile payroll, including payroll taxes and garnishments
• Administer employee benefits as they relate to payroll
• Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
• Prepare year-end W-2s and 1099s
• Assist with HR-related administrative functions
• Support ownership and leadership with accounting-related requests and reporting
• Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Payroll processing experience, including payroll taxes and garnishments
• Familiarity with sales and use tax filings
