Senior Tax Accountant

• 3-5+ years of tax experience in a public accounting environment
• Experience preparing and reviewing individual, business, partnership, and corporate tax returns
• CPA license, EA license, or active progress toward obtaining CPA or EA certification preferred
• Experience supervising, training, or mentoring junior staff
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proficiency with tax preparation software, Microsoft Office Suite, and accounting technology platforms
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

• Lead tax engagements from planning through final delivery
• Prepare and review tax returns, work papers, and supporting documentation
• Research complex tax issues and provide practical solutions
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients
• Manage engagement schedules, deadlines, and deliverables
• Review staff work for accuracy and compliance
• Coach, mentor, and develop junior team members
• Identify opportunities to support clients with additional tax and advisory services
• Maintain current knowledge of tax laws and regulatory changes
• Participate in professional development and business growth initiatives
