Job Description
The Body Shop Detailer/Porter helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by maintaining the cleanliness of the Body Shop, cleaning vehicles, delivering vehicles to customers and vendors, and transporting customers to/from their home when needed.
The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast paced environment, a valid driver’s license, forklift training, and some related experience. Candidates must be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and work productively in a fast-paced team environment and must have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds safely.
Responsibilities- Washes and cleans vehicles
- Cleans the Body Shop work areas
- Transports customers to and from their home when needed and requested
- Attends all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
- Follows all safety and security procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Experience in a similar role a plus
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
