This is an exciting opportunity to be the voice of our team, bringing the excitement of independent baseball to fans through live streaming.

• Provide engaging and accurate live play-by-play commentary for all Bakersfield Train Robbers home and away games during the 2027 season.
• Conduct pre-game and post-game interviews with coaches, players, and staff as needed.
• Research and prepare statistics, player bios, and team information to enhance broadcast quality.
• Operate streaming equipment and ensure high-quality audio and video transmission for all broadcasts on platforms like Vimeo.
• Engage with fans through broadcast interactions and potentially social media channels.
• Travel with the team to all away games.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the Bakersfield Train Robbers and Pecos League positively at all times.

• Proven experience in sports broadcasting, particularly play-by-play commentary for baseball.
• Exceptional verbal communication skills, with a clear, articulate, and engaging delivery.
• Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategies, and terminology.
• Ability to work independently and manage all aspects of a live broadcast.
• Familiarity with live streaming technology and equipment (audio mixers, cameras, software).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for pre-game preparation.
• Ability to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A passion for independent baseball and connecting with fans.

• This is a paid position.
• The operational period for this role is from May 28th to July 28th, 2027.
• Position is based in Bakersfield, California, requiring travel with the team for away games.
