The successful applicant will be expected to provide instruction in Industrial Drawing. This assignment may include teaching at other campus sites, day or evening classes, weekend classes, large classes, and using multiple teaching methodologies. Duties include providing instruction in a full range of Industrial Drawing courses, participating in student recruitment and articulation of transfer programs for the Industrial Technology department; maintaining subject matter currency;

developing and revising curriculum; using computer and multimedia technology; and collegial participation in departmental, college, and discipline-specific professional activities.

Bachelor degree AND 2 years related professional experience;
OR
- Associate degree AND 6 years related professional experience
(Professional experience is required when the applicant possesses a master s degree. The professional experience required must be directly related to the faculty member s teaching assignment.)

Minimum Qualifications Handbook Faculty and Administration in California Community Colleges
AND - A demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

The screening of candidates will be conducted by a screening committee. The screening committee reserves the right to limit the number of interviews granted. • Ability to develop curriculum, including delivery via different modalities
• Ability to participate in recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges and universities

• Demonstrated ability to maintain subject matter currency
• Ability to assess student learning outcomes
• Knowledge of computers and willingness to explore new technologies that benefit the program
• Knowledge of and commitment to the California community college mission
