Instructional/Intervention Aide, TK
Site Location of Position:Highland Elementary School
Term / Hours of Position:5.75 Hours Per Day
Responsibilities and Duties:Under the supervision of the site administrator and the direction of a certificated staff member, performs the necessary duties to assist in the planning and implementation of a program for the regular and special needs of children in the classroom.
Education / CertificationMinimum Qualifications:
- Associate's degree, two years of study at an institute of higher learning, or have met formal academic assessment required by No Child Left Behind Act.
- CPR training. Special Knowledge/
Skills: - Ability to assist in instructing reading, writing, and mathematics.
- Ability to work well with children
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Background to include activities that involve students and an interest in working with school age children.
- Experience working in an instructional environment.
- Experience or education in the areas of child development.
Range 5, $16.90 - $19.61 per hour based on 10 steps. (Additional $0.32 in lieu of benefits).
