This position is part of the Kern Community College District's part‑time adjunct coaching pool. The coach will lead the men's soccer program, teach intercollegiate soccer, and coach games and tournaments during evenings and Saturdays as required.
Responsibilities- Teach and coach men's collegiate soccer during fall and/or spring semesters and potentially summer sessions.
- Plan and deliver lessons that accommodate a diverse student population with varied academic, cultural, socioeconomic, and physical learning abilities.
- Coaching duties include practices, games, and tournaments scheduled in the evening and/or on Saturdays.
- Assist with recruitment and articulation activities with local schools, colleges, and universities.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and the athletics department.
• Any bachelor's degree with at least two years of coaching experience OR
• Any associate's degree with at least six years of coaching experience.

- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Commitment to maintaining subject‑matter currency and assessing student learning outcomes.
- Knowledge of computers and willingness to explore new technologies that benefit the program.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the California community college mission.
