Counseling Faculty Position

This position provides personal, academic, and career counseling to students across their college lifecycle – from entry through completion. Responsibilities include supporting matriculation; delivering classroom presentations and outreach; early alert and completion initiatives; making appropriate referrals; and serving students during evening and weekend assignments as needed. The Counselor(s) will lead student intervention efforts, support academically challenged students, and may teach counseling courses.

Faculty are expected to participate in participatory governance, assume leadership roles, collaborate across disciplines, leverage student support resources, and engage in ongoing professional development.

Minimum Qualifications include a Master's in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent. A demonstrated sensitivity to students with diverse academic, socio-economic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds and students with disabilities is also required. Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions.

Any degree from a country other than the United States, including Canada and Great Britain, must be evaluated by an evaluation service.

Salary Range: $89,080.98 - $ annually. Maximum Placement Level Salary: $ annually.
