Position Overview
Title: Administration of Justice Instructor – Part-Time Adjunct (Hourly)
Type: Temporary – Adjuncts
Location: PC – Main Campus, Porterville, CA
Salary: $66.00 to $67.00 per hour
- Teach courses in Administration of Justice to diverse student populations.
- Develop curriculum and course materials, including hybrid modalities.
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely feedback.
- Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students to promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in recruitment, articulation, and outreach activities with local schools and institutions.
- Maintain subject‑matter expertise and current knowledge of the field.
- Communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of related professional experience; or
- Associate’s degree and at least six years of related professional experience; or
- Valid California Community College credential for the Administration of Justice discipline; or equivalent.
- Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse backgrounds of community college students.
- Degrees from accredited institutions; foreign degrees require evaluation.
